I know a lesbian couple who are far better at parenting than some couples I see in my neighborhood. Being heterosexual doesn’t give you any better skills at raising a family.

So, Robert, I wouldn’t worry what some god thinks. You probably are just as good as the next guy at raising your child. I envy you.

Dan Savage is always an inspiration of common sense and clarity of thought in this Anti-Gay-Jumbled issue. Just a quick pointer tha the Tag for the post reads “Dan Savate”, you might want to fix that so we can find this video easily again.
Also, where was he talking? It was dead silent in the room when he spoke…

If the Bible doesn’t say it NOW, someone will rewrite it to do so.
After all, that HAS been done, right?

So have state Constitutions and they are working on the Federal Constitution to be rewritten to exclude gay people.

As a very smart college professor rightly answered a Senator when asked if the prof believed in the Bible he said:
“Sir, you were not elected with your hand on the Constitution to swear to uphold the tenets of the Bible, you swore to uphold the tenets of the Constitution.”

’nuff said’.
