Honestly, it’s not even the hypocrisy that is so infuriating. It’s the pathetic, mewling victim act that makes me hate her.
You don’t get to whine about the reaction after you spit in people’s faces, bitch. You don’t get to promote hatred and discrimination and then whine about it when people don’t approve. Sh*t, at least Fred Phelps is honest about what he is, unlike this useless **** and all of her ilk. They are not just bigots, but cowards who are unwilling to accept the scorn they earn.

Jason D’s right. I wouldn’t give a damn if she didn’t make herself out to be some kind of martyr facing down “everybody else,” as if she always had this identity.

A beauty pageant contestant had done things to get attention in her past?? shock! And also, people do these things because they’re people, and that’s that.

But I have doubts as to how much the religious right will find her a liability instead of an asset. She can just say “I ask Jesus for forgiveness” and the Christians will say “she has repented and is now on a true, new journey in christ” blah blah blah. It’s very convenient.

I really didn’t care what she said at the pageant, despite all the undeserved hype it got.

It’s everything she did after with the grandstanding, lying, and hypocrisy that really got on my nerves. She didn’t do her job and got fired. Simple as that. I’m so happy the pity parade just got rained on.

the funny thing is that I (and probably a lot of BTB readers) wouldn’t really care about this if

1. She didn’t throw herself out there as some type of family values, bible-strong Christian warrior.

2. She would stop lying constantly.
