So the Democrats of NJ are opposed to marriage but are okay with the court-mandated civil unions. The Republicans of NJ, ditto.

“I have a growing contempt…” Um…that means you have contempt. Admitting contempt–no matter how justified–in a political situation does not not encourage opponents, or perceived opponents, to change their positions.

“Frustration” might have been a better choice.

They won’t prove you wrong. Between Maine, Scozzafava, and the 2 governorships, Democrats all over the country are scared to do ANYTHING “controversial” right now. This is why they’re losing my vote from here on in.
