Seven mountains, seven mountains, where have I heard that before?

Oh yeah (emphasis mine):

Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. The KJV translates the last section as “seven mountains“. I’ll let you all run with this wherever you want to go, because there are so many ways in which this could apply to the Ugandan church. For starters, the Bible depicts the church as a bride – as a woman…

An important aspect of this is that my research colleagues and I reported on the New Apostolics, and their “Seven Mountains” agenda, last year, especially from September through November 2008, in our reporting on Sarah Palin’s religious associations.

Wow – this is truly revealing. It does explain why American evangelicals (especially Warren) are so mum on the topic.

This has a 60 Minutes program written all over it. Any chance an investigative news story might come out of this (preferably as soon as possible)?

I think a lot of Americans would be shocked to know the true extent of this. CNN (or was it MSNBC) has already done an expose on “The Family” – this seems connected.
