I wrote a letter to Rick Warren expressing my disappointment in his "Christian" failure to take up the cause of the lesser of these. I cc'd my letter to other church leaders as well. This smacks of Nazi Germany and nobody in the so called "born again" crowd wants to speak up ...for fear that they may look pro gay to God. It's shameful. My grandmother would roll over in her grave and say, my goodness...what is going on. The U.S. and anybody who has a conscience should raise objections over Uganda. However, I'm not holding my breath, either. The U.S. government is generally quick to meddle when it's in our economic or political interests, but not so quick when it's just the lives of a bunch of unimportant people at risk.
