Would a kitten bite the hands of its owner? Highly unlikely. Think. I just hope that the “concentration” camp secenario is not going to repeat itself. Given the technology of our age its easy for fire to spread, just like the anti smoking law which started in ireland.

No matter what the outcome of the bill in Uganda turns out to be, if Bahati and Buturo do end up coming to D.C. in February, a protest should greet them before entering the prayer breakfast (and include signage and speeches calling out the “Family’s” role as well…

BTB is to be highly commended for breaking this story, and keeping it front and center. Bravo guys.

Rick Warren did something better than “deliver[ing] that (self-serving) speech before Congress or even in front of his mega-congregation with live TV broadcasts”.

He sent the video to pastors in Uganda asking them to oppose the bill. He told them that it is their moral responsibility to do so.

Yes, it isn’t as high profile as speaking to the American Congress. But it is more likely to be effective.

The United Nations and the United States should suspend all aid to Uganda until this legislation and all previous legislation against the GLBT community is repealed. These people do not deserve my tax money.

Ya know, I can accept the idea that in circumstances in which something as dire as capital punishment is at stake, one might stretch the truth to make it appear that the world is united in opposition, gay and straight, liberal and conservative, but, come on. Six minutes of YouTube is not a “high-profile statement” by any stretch of the imagination.

Now, if he had delivered that (self-serving) speech before Congress or even in front of his mega-congregation with live TV broadcasts — a good way for him to have begun his repentance for his role in all this — THAT would have been “high-profile”.
