Anyone gay needs to leave Uganda. Every person, organization, or government that gives aide to Uganda needs to be publicly & widely exposed, and made to cease that aide.

This is not unlike the way Nazis first targeted the Jews.

Even though the government there is publicly backing off from their original policy, there is nothing to stop the mobs in the street.

We witnessed tamer versions here of yellow journalism scaring the voters into banning marriage.
The effect got the results the opposition wanted.
It doesn’t take much to get a mob on your side and what you want.

And then, those that started it can say “well, we tried to convince people not to do that…”
Such as in the case of Rick Warren, who didn’t speak up until a lot of time had passed and under scrutiny and pressure.

The damage is done.

I get the feeling 90% of the ‘homos’ uganda rounds up will just happen to be enemies of the government. They’ll say they did something gay to justify it and if anyone says anything about it their defending a gay person AND questioning the government so they’ll be joining them in jail.

I wonder who benefits from targeting these people who may or may not be gay, but will probably have to run and hide to stay alive. Whoever ends up with their jobs, property and bank accounts is probaby behind this “expose.” I can’t imagine that one of these folks is in Mouseveni’s good graces, otherwise they would never have been targeted.

This has far more to do with power and money than it does with homosexuality.
