I’m going to have to disagree with Timothy, though, on the favorite quote. Mine is this one:

That is spot-on! Miller and Jenkins didn’t accidently become parents, they went into it with eyes open and with clear understanding of the commitment they were making.

Good points. Those both sound like likely possibilities.

I wonder if the police will be asking questions around the Liberty University school, if that is indeed where Isabella used to go. Like, for starters, exactly how long ago Isabella was pulled from classes.

This is speculation on my part, but I suspect that Isabella was being educated at the school affiliated with Liberty University. That would explain no reporting of a child gone missing.

Further, I would not be surprised if Lisa is believing that God is going to miraculously cause the Virginia Supreme Court to decide that they will not enforce Vermont’s court orders and thus thinks her disappearance is only short term.

Now that I think of it… isn’t the latter pretty much a extremist fundamentalist parent’s dream? And since we haven’t heard anything about a school Isabella is missing from, I guess it’s not such a stretch to assume that Isabella was already being home schooled before Miller took off with her.

Poor kid, completely socially isolated and now dragged god-knows-where on the lam with a mother who’s convincing her that the whole big bad world is out to get them? Years of therapy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
