He’s not the only one. There have been similar broadcasts from black church pastors in Washington, D.C and Chicago respectively that also were consistently very graphic regarding their understanding of same sex sex.

I can tell you from personal experience, that people I’ve known who were former friends who eventually displayed anti gay sentiments, have also treated me to graphic details of what they think gay people do, clearly to make me be disgusted by gay people as they are.
So they resorted to a anatomy lesson, a lecture on why certain parts shouldn’t go in certain places and what happens if they do.

This has happened several times with different people, but their agenda was the same.

Appeal to the lowest, most common assumption, fear and ignorance in who they were talking to.
After all, those of us who are close to and have very caring and deep friendships with gay people, couldn’t POSSIBLY know what people like Peter LaB and Ssempa know.
We MUST be the stupidest most ignorant people if we don’t see what they see in gay people.

I’m the one who hasn’t reduced my gay and trans folk friends to sex and body parts, dry statistics and abstract distortion.
I happen to know the heart, soul and fullness of my gay friends.

So it begs the question: when the anti gay don’t have the stones to know OR speak of someone in anything BUT such reductive terms, how can they accuse those of us who don’t of being clueless and in need of THEIR expertise on gay sex, not gay PEOPLE?

I can’t speak for a gay person’s experience, but I have no doubt that gay folks even moreso get abused with this sort of hectoring like “don’t you know what YOU PEOPLE DO”?

Something of that nature right?

Because I certainly get told in abusive and condescending ways, as if I’m some naive child that gay people are hiding their ‘real selves and activity’ from.

Or even more telling: if gay people aren’t policing each other’s bedrooms, nor reporting on each other’s every nose hair, activity and whereabouts, the anti gay are convinced there is a conspiracy of silence to hide something nefarious.

So, us allies don’t get off lightly, people.
We are considered just a culpable of letting get people’s ‘thin pink line’ get between the straight world and their determination in scrutinizing every move a gay person makes.

In effect, since we DO have such intimate relationships, why AREN’T we using them so spy, pry and tell on our gay loved ones?

It’s a milder form of what the Ugandan government wants to do to punish those who know someone gay or suspect it.

I read a book called “Hitler’s Willing Executioners.”

Goldberg…Goldstein, something like that.
You can Google the title.

But the effect of neighbors tattling or standing by as their Jewish or ‘undesirable’ neighbors where hauled off to the camps has symptoms in what Ssempa wants to do.

But here in America, similar things have traditionally been done to gays and lesbians.

And in seeing how the anti gay are so pathologically paranoid, and even with the Prop. 8 trial, are indulged just enough, the ground spark is still waiting to flare.

My dear friends: I have something the anti gay don’t have, and don’t like and don’t expect from your straight allies.
I’m not paranoid, I’m not gutless and I don’t let fear turn my back on what I’ve set out to do.
I’m not liked and I’m treated as if I’m a traitor to, ‘the great straight race.’
Ha.

Their fear turns them into turd puddles, and few of them would ever act alone without a forum or mob right behind them.
I have my gay and trans folk friends to thank who gave me the spine and courage.

The anti gay fear an opportunity. A real one, to see what love and simple kindness gives back.

Mores the point. The constant meme that marriage equality will ‘redefine marriage’ deflects from what would really be in evidence.

The truth is that marriage equality would redefine the culturally based fiction that heterosexuality imbues superiority and entitled supremacy.

Well, we know what happened when racists and misogynists got knocked off that peg too.

And I take VERY perverse pleasure in seeing that happen to the anti gay.
Since when has equality been a BAD thing? Even for the prejudiced?
