That’s right… more pretty words for the gays. He seems to do this every few months when our frustration and anger is discussed in the media. Just b/c the Republicans are largely scum doesn’t mean we will accept NOTHING of substance from him or the Democrats. I hope his plan to do NOTHING works out for him. He’s sold the progressives out to appeal to the Republicans and friends like Reverend Rick Warren… people who will NEVER vote for him. He can now add a former Democrat to that list of people who will likely NEVER vote for him.

This likely means that the words “Don’t”, “Ask” and “Tell” will be used at some point in SOTU.

What Obama should do is invite Dan Choi to be in the gallery and recognize him during the speech.

Will either happen? I’m not holding my breath.
