I’m going to agree with Quo on this one. There is no scientific evidence for a god hence there can be no scientific evidence that gayness is one of “god’s gifts”. That’s not to say that it isn’t natural and biological.

Who would expect you to believe homosexuality is a gift? Anyone who is gay is proof enough that homosexuality is God’s gift. Just because you don’t think so doesn’t make it untrue.

There is nothing scientific about a lot of things in the whole debate. What isn’t in dispute is that homosexuality is a natural phenomenon—at least, not in the minds of self-accepting gay people.

As to whether homosexuality has survival benefit, one need only look at the burgeoning population of the world and the inevitable population crash that will result if world population growth continues unchecked. Gay people may well be that natural check.

Even for a gay activist, the idea that there is “scientific” evidence that “homosexuality is one of God’s gifts” is remarkably pseudo-scientific.
