But he added that the government did not currently have the power to alter the proposed legislation at this stage, as it is a private member’s bill. Yah!!!!!!!
Stop aid and force sancions and it MAY happen,but as stated before what is the British Home office and government doing about it.NOTHING.
I havebeen warning and highlightingthe perils in vain for aparently all issues relating to homoseuality and the death penalty imposed is ignorred.

H Res 1064 says:

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) strongly believes that—

(A) all people possess an intrinsic human dignity, regardless of sexual orientation, and share fundamental human rights;

I am not familiar with the politics of House Resolutions. Do these have the force of Law?

IE, passing this piece of legislation, would effectively put an end to any federally recognized orientation-based discrimination. The premise of both DOMA and DADT are in direct conflict with the above statements.

Unless of course someone caveats this Resolution as “void where prohibited by law”, in which case, it’s just a collection of words with no meaning
