I am gay and watch Fox News at night. Heck, Bill O'Reilly said the other week that DADT should be repealed, along with the two women he was discussing the issue - one a Democrat and the other a Republican. Colonel Hunt is a regular on Fox News and will continue to be.

Also, the only Sunday Morning talk show worth watching now is Fox Sunday with Chris Matthews. The only one worth watching before was Meet the Press with Tim Russert.

Fox News is pretty fair. It depends on which program you're watching, but...basically. The biggest Fox critics have always been those who never watch it, but get all their distorted info. from leftist websites and blogs.

WOW, I wasn't aware we could pick up TV signals from the mirror universe in Star Trek. Now I watch Fox everyday, mostly the nutty shows like Beck and Hannity. I don't watch them because IO think they are fair and balance, I watch them to see what the other side is saying. I have no idea who that male anchor was, but I'm sure he will never be back on again, neither will that Colonel. the only reason why people think Fox is fair and balanced including the polls is because they say they are. I've come to realize that if you say something long enough people will believe it.

Considering how many soldiers report knowing an openly gay member of their unit, I'd say DADT is a failure even at keeping openly gay soldiers out. It just depends on the luck of the draw whether it's enforced or not, and often nobody cares until it's time to repay a soldier with his well-earned benefits and then it's Oops! you're dishonorably discharged!

Media Matters regularly highlights the distortions and outright lies of Fox News and it’s commentators.

Oh please. Anyone who thinks that Media Matters is non-partisan in its "analysis"...well let's just say the notion is patently absurd. MM is as "fair and balanced" as AIM from the right is. Yes, FOX isn't entirely "fair and balanced" either but you know what? NONE of them are! FOX is just a little better at it then the other cable channels are. I would never rely upon one single news source as giving me the whole picture on any story because they ALL have biases.

Anyone that thinks Fox news is the most fair is seriously mistaken. I'll never forget when they had that "debate" on atheism and invited 3 theists and no atheists to do it. That's business as ususal for Fox.

oakland, just because some people think Fox is fair does not translate into it actually being fair.

Media Matters regularly highlights the distortions and outright lies of Fox News and it's commentators.

And it's not about whether or not CNN or MSNBC (there are many news channels, btw) or anyone else is more or less fair, or more or less balanced than fox. It's the simple fact that Fox claims to be fair and balanced and has yet, in my observation, to make good on that claim.

Let's not forget they used a republican press release, unaltered as a news story. Let's not forget they showed stock footage of large crowds to fool people into believing large numbers of folks were attending certain Tea Party events. Speaking of, they were the corporate sponsor of the Tea Party protests -- they encouraged their viewers to come down, even gave them ADVICE!

Obviously some here do not watch FOX NEWS regularly. Even a DEMOCRATIC poll recently said a large percentage of liberals now watch FOX for their news because it is most fair.

I watch it EVERYDAY and there are MANY liberals on the channel. Almost every issue discussed has two people on split screen--a liberal and a conservative--giving the opposing views.

I ask you who seem to think FOX is so one sided, when was the last time CNN or MSNBC had a conservative on to give their point of view? I rest my case. Yes, I am GAY--can you believe it?

If Duncan served in the military, there is a very good chance he served with gay service members whether he knew it or not. A lot of these gay service members were not necessarily open. More of a matter of not making efforts to hide. And DADT is a failure. Valuable service members have been thrown out, i.e. those with valuable language skills the military desperately needs.
