I attended that 2007 Exodus conference where Hutch spoke. At that time, Watchmen had not yet been listed as a hate group by the SPLC, although they were clearly on the SPLC’s radar at the time, having already written about the Watchmen in their Intelligence Report. But that listing would come, I think just a few months later. As far as I’ve been able to determine, Hutcherson hasn’t spoken at an Exodus event since then the Watchmen were officially listed.

i live in wa state [only a few minutes drive from this "reverend's" so called "church", & everytime i hear hutcherson's named mentioned, i get the winces & cringes hutcherson is not a "christian"-he's an eglomaniac of the worst sort it's always been about him, only him, his beliefs [no other beliefs count in his book] etc he announced last year that he had prostate cancer-i admit i rejoiced, thinking that maybe God was trying to get his attention.....sadly hutcherson isn't listening

“Hutch” isn’t just an anti-gay preacher, he’s a co-founder (with Scott Lively) of the SPLC-certified hate group Watchman on the Walls.

He was also a keynote speaker at an Exodus conference a few years ago (his group had already been designated a hate group) and he’s also been a keynote speaker for a Focus on the Family conference in recent years.

Another link between ex-gay organizations and leaders of hate groups…

The more I read about this the less respect for Elton John I have. When is someone going to take him to task for singing on this wedding?

And before everyone jumps at me, I am a singer myself and I have every right to refuse to sing any event where I believe that me, or my reputation would be harmed. This is the same right that Dumb Limpbag has to not invite gay folk to his wedding and turn it into a straight marriage rally.

I am seriously pissed off at Elton.
