Maybe it’s just me, but I have always gotten a bit of a gay vibe off of Eminem. There, I said it. Probably just wishful thinking, but I do get a vibe! :)

He’s always struck me as ultimately pro-gay, despite his misguided lyrical excesses. Did anyone see 8-Mile? He has a gay co-worker (Paul) who doesn’t get a lot of time on screen, but he intervenes when the others start to mock him for being effeminate, using the line “Paul’s gay, you’re a faggot,” the “you” here being the bully. Misguided, yes, in that he thinks it’s okay to pretend “faggot” doesn’t mean a gay person, just a person you don’t like. But still… his heart is in the right place it seems.

I like Marshall, he speaks what is on his mind. Some of his material is insightful and enlightening. He can’t help that he’s cute and has a masculine aura in a non-threatening way. He’s been hit on and has had the “gay” thing tossed his way too often . Until recently he has not had the tool kit to deal with it tactfully. Him and Ol Reggie must had a few long talks on how to deal with the crap of celebrity.
