Why do you suppose some gay men exhibit these characteristics? Is it really natural or just some affectation they develop?

Of course, there has always been another segment of gays who are hypermasculine or try to act that way (the leather guys, the bears or the old 1970′s Castro clones).

“Adam is a straight man who used to be gay.”- LIE OF THE CENTURY! Isn’t it one of the ten commandments to not bear false witness? This man couldn’t possibly get any gayer. I checked this video out on youtube, and all the comments say the exact same thing. i hope he reads them so he can better see that he’s not fooling anyone, and he’s making a total fool of himself. People are so moronic, I swear to God. Even if he didn’t wear that ridiculous outfit, you can still tell he’s gay by his lispy voice, and even his posture and facial structure. It really just boggles my mind, how all these people can go through their lives able to tell a gay person from a straight person based soley on physical characteristics (I know because I got made fun of in school, and i wasn’t even out), and still pretend they believe noone is born gay.

This guy is fabulous! He is so not homosexual, but has so totally perfected the flaming-bitchy-queen persona. With a flair for the dramatic, he’s got it all – the costume, the over-the-top hyperbole, the sweeping hand/arm gestures, and the vocal inflections, including my personal favorite, his riveting lapses into breathiness.

Since this guy is married, I guess it means that God is okay with flaming bitchy queens as long as they struggle to have sex with women who have been enticed into marrying them. So God hates the sin, loves the sinner, but He apparently has so little love for women that He’s willing to see them enticed (or more often duped) into marrying guys who have no sexual desire for them. And that’s called timeless Biblical morality. It’s marriage as God designed it to be.

I see more and more people “sitting in the pews” that care about the treatment of the GLBT community. The long journey however to the pulpit is S L O W. I try different ways to reach out to pastors to simply have conversation. The typical response is the assumption that I need spiritual counsel and they offer to have the “pastor” talk with me. I just move on.
Doors are creaking open however. This Sunday, I am going with two gay men to a large Assembly of God Church in CA for a service and a planned conversation and lunch with the senior staff. They KNOW this is an issue.

So many interesting things in here. The first being the encouraging bit of news that 92% of 16-19 yo’s rightly perceive that the bulk of Christian thought leans anti-gay. Apparently sugar-coating the truth with “love the sinner, not the sin” doesn’t fool most young people.

“Many people hate me temporarily and get saved a month later.” This sounds nice, but I’m guessing he’s making up stories.

“God can do it by cracking a whip.” Hmmm, God gets around to “it” all by all sorts of means.

I’ve heard a couple ex-gays talk at Christian events and both of them sounded just as stereotypically gay as this guy.

This video is part of a series on Youtube where people talk about the evils of teh gay. Its real. There’s even a longer one of this poor guy where he talks about San Francisco having literal witches and demons. While it’s tempting to laugh at him, he’s clearly very ill. The Christian group exploiting him in this way should be deeply ashamed of themselves.
