Randy is a self proclaimed sex addict, as are many “ex-gays” including Alan Chambers. They simply threw the baby out with the bath water instead of getting balanced professional help. Like most ex-gays and Side B’ers, they are celibate wannabees. None of this has to do with God. God is a far beyond control and bitch slapping.
Oh well Randy, it’s your life. Fix it now or come back again and do it all over.

Aren’t all gifts, by definition, free? I mean when was the last time you tore off the wrapping paper, opened the box, said “Oh thank you!” and had the other person respond with “that’ll be $4.50″?

And now back to the regularly scheduled thread, already in progress….

I agree that Uncle Silly is just a tad too….Herbert from Family Guy for my bullsh!t-o-meter.

I think part should be rephrased:

“As a matter of fact, if I had known that at 24 I would never have got sucked in by Exodus in the first place.”

Poor silly Uncle Silly, didn’t see the bait-and-switch of ‘the hope of change’?

Have to admit he’s probably oddly correct on this: “My relational needs are met and being met abundantly.”

Randy still has Me, Myself and I.

I suspect those are the only relationships he’s ever really been capable of committing to.

This is problem #1 with the gay/celibacy issue.

Problem #2 is that nowhere else in scripture does God bestow the same gift (of the numerous that are recorded) to an entire constituency or class of persons. It’s not there.

And yet some in the Church continue to insist on validity of this nonsensical notion.
