“G-d” nor “God” is the name of the God in whom I believe. The Jews didn’t even stop saying Yahweh’s name aloud until after the Roman army destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

If those Jews really studied their Hebrew Scriptures, they would know that the residents of Sodom were NEVER called “sodomites.” They were just called people. There is no word in the Bible for “sodomite” as far as the original languages are concerned.

Every place that the word “sodomite” shows up in the KJV Bible, the real word is kodesh and it means a holy person serving a deity. The religion in question is that of the Canaanites who worshiped their fertility gods, Asherah and Ba’al.

The Canaanites were residents of Canaan. Sodom wasn’t even in that country.

I agree with TampaZeke… I don’t usually like to judge the cultures of others, but I live in a largely Orthodox Jewish neighborhood, and considering what astoundingly homophobic, sexist and (often) racist people they are, I have no qualms about saying they have some of the worst and most ridiculous fashion sense of any religion.
