Speaking of post offices, our local branch has an employee who is in the process of transitioning. I admire her for her bravery and fortitude (and determination!) given the very public nature of her job.

With regards to both Home Depot and Lowe’s, my experience has always been that they are very helpful, even to this not-so-macho, not so terribly well informed on matters pertaining to home-projects homo. And based on personal appearances, it at least appears that both are not hesitant to hire either lesbians or gays!

Do you know who the AFA is? They are a bunch of inbred religious fanatics from Tupelo, MS (home town of Elvis).

AFA makes their living off of extorting money from businesses. If the business tells them where to go, they protest and make trouble for them- Just like Jessie Jackson Jr except its run by homophobic maniacs. It is a protection racket.

Who gives a rat’s behind what they think?

Think I’ll go drop a few Grand at Home Depot just because they are cool enough to be on the AFA’s list.

Here in Hooterville we even have lesbians working at Ace Hardware. I haven’t ever not seen LGBT people shopping or working in Home Depot or Lowe’s. We are legion.

My local Lowe’s has several homosexual employees. TW, your local Lowe’s may have homosexual employees also, so I would check that out first before committing to switching your business. Actually employing homosexuals is much worse than allowing employees to go to homosexual pride festivals. Making an income allows these sinful people to carry on with their immoral lifestyle. So, on balance, you may be better off staying at your local Home Depot.

Unless they also employ homosexuals.

So, I guess my tip is: Only go to places that don’t allow homosexuals to work there. Cracker Barrel restaurants used to not allow homosexuals to work there, so maybe that’s a start.

Also, I’ve asked the Post Office to have a non-homosexual deliver my mail, as a matter of Christian civil rights. You might do the same.

TW, Lowe’s has sexual orientation in their non-discrimination policy and likes Teh Gay just fine.

They are a better choice, however, for the non-contractor given their focus on fashion grade items for plumbing, electrical, etc. My big gay husband appreciates your business.

SHAME on Home Depot for exposing children to nudity and immoral settings.
Any store that does not support family values is NOT a place that will get MY money. HD used to be my favorite place to shop for tools and home improvement needs. Not anymore. I’ll go to Lowe’s. SHAME on them.

Heh, makes me feel better about the $157.80 I spent there last night!

Oh, and the funny thing about those auto-form emails? They’re easily blocked by any end user with a couple of simple commands in Outlook, which is the staple of corporate email. When my company started getting a deluge of those things from whoever was pissed at us that time, we got an email from our group vice president telling us to do a few simple steps and just block them all. About two minutes later, presto, no more nuisance form emails!

Mixed feelings. It was the HD CEO who was caught on tape claiming that any corporation that wasn’t giving 100% of their money to Republicans was failing in their duties to maximize shareholder value. We’ve tried to only shop at Lowes, ever since.
