thanks. that answers a question i had months ago when BTB posted a video showing lively in uganda… i couldnt understand how so many educated people could sit through his presentation and not challenge him on any of his crazy claims… or walk out in disgust… surely even the biggest gay haters in that room could see that his presentation was a waste of time. then again, his presentation wouldnt have prompted the kill the gays bill if his audience didnt appreciate his junk. and they did… i remember a ugandan pastor waving lively’s pink swastika and praising it.

…and now, we have lively being presented as a noble and respectable leader. *shudder*

I’m surprised they even think there is a theoretical chance Lively might win the primary (it gives real theories a bad name!). Should be interesting to see what votes Lively does get (perhaps on a precinct-by-precinct basis).

Anteros, his credibility comes from there being a lot of deeply anti-gay people who are ready and willing to believe anything that puts gays in a bad light no matter how outrageous.

i just don’t get it! …where does lively get his credibility from? …besides writing a bunch of junk, what else does he have to his name? why do people listen to him despite the fact that he wrote that junk?

Jim, I googled “anti-gay hate groups” and clicked on the link for the Southern Poverty Law Center and that’s where i found the list I referenced.

Also, as I look at it again, counting hate groups depend on how you count them. I see that the Traditional Values coalition is listed twice (once for Anaheim, CA, and once for Washington, D.C.), and Utah-based America Forever is listed separately from Utah-based America Forever Foundation.
