I find it interesting that the Christianists will point to those in foreign countries who they think have been persecuted by the 'militant homosexual agenda' in other countries. Such as in Canada.

But we have examples of out gay advocates actually having been killed or disappeared. At the very least, there are those hideous photos of two young teens in Iran being publicly hanged.

We have the shooting in a Tel Aviv support meeting for gay kids with two fatalities.

Even here, the only clergy that have been prosecuted by their churches, or dismissed from their jobs, have been those supportive of gay people or who officiated ss weddings.

And we can list many young teens, bullied with anti gay epithet and assault, who have committed suicide.

I know of no equivalence in casualties coming from the other side. Where the violence against gay people actually has it's roots in a socio/political movement, whereas no gay agenda includes the torment of non gay children, or silencing the anti gay.

If only it occurred to THEM, that their rhetoric effectively silences young people to their graves. If only it could occur to them to silence that rhetoric, that it could save lives.

They are hardly so silent as the tears that THEY don't have to shed.
