Chambliss is the leader, and Therein lies the answer to the quiery of where this mindset comes from. He is but one of a chorus of Republican Leaders.

They have public faces, and private ones, which are their real faces.

I doubt very seriously that they will divulge video surveillance of the poster at the computer.

Regardless of Chambliss’ views on the actual comment he should fire the perpetrator for being stupid enough to do it from his office.

i wouldn’t be surprised if it were a minor aide or someone who can easily be fired, all the while making chambliss look like a pro-equality politician.

I’m very curious to see how this plays out. About four years ago, an analyst at my airline was so excited about the new routes we were going to fly that he bragged about them on an aviation discussion board. Within a couple days of his bosses finding the comment, the well-meaning guy was marched out the door for revealing trade secrets.

If an airline can figure this kind of thing out, I’m sure these people can…
