The old "gay people recruit" and "gay marriage will ruin society" schticks are wearing thin and this is just the thing to bring them new $$$$. They can soak it for quite a while still but I'm sure they realize that this cash cow will only be golden for so long and, while it'll probably never go away completely, they'll have to find another cash cow... maybe... hopefully... in this decade.
