My diocese supports non-discrimination in all aspects as far as it is a social issue. Some issues, such as marriage, is viewed as a moral issue, and as such, they cannot support it. That is why they showed support for domestic partnership benefits in my city, but only up to there, as they see that marriage is a moral issue over a social one. I like that Father Joseph supports this, as he sees it as what it is: a social justice issue.
