DSK’s lawyer argued for bail stating that DSK wasn’t a flight risk.

That’s hilarious considering DSK was ON A PLANE headed to France when he was arrested. France is a non extradition country. Which is why Roman Polanski retreated there.

Why would France want so many sex offenders running around loose in their country?

French LGBT, you can already kiss your hopes goodbye for 2012. With DSK out of the picture, the main candidates left for the presidential elections are Marine Le Pen (from the Far Right) and Nicolas Sarkozy (accused of pandering to the Far Right). Unless the Socialist Party manages to scramble for a new candidate… Aubry? Royal? Or, providence helps, Delanoë?
