I have asked the anti gay over and over, how do you vilify one group of people for doing what heterosexuals are applauded for?
They NEVER, EVER answer that question. One might conclude that a person paying their taxes, being responsible or raising children with love and care, and altogether contributing to the general welfare is what one is EXPECTED to do without fanfare.

But in the process of trying to make gay people appear threatening for doing the right things, heterosexuals doing it are given a loftier and more heroic status. It’s like a race, where the culture warriors are moving the goal posts and giving accolades to the person who has ALWAYS been accorded first place without ANY effort, while placing more and more weight on the gay person in the same race.

This is why isn’t exceptionally strange to try and have marriage discrimination laws based on the ability to procreate, when there AREN’T any laws that do that against anyone else.
There are no laws that discriminate based on lack of being an ideal parent for future children, or being a NON parent.

Yet, that’s exactly what the anti gay want to do.

Notice that their protests are fully based on ‘what might happen’ ‘what will happen’, ‘what could happen’, but not at all on what ACTUALLY or ALREADY has that defy that assertion.

So basing Constitutional amendments on PERCEPTION is extremely dangerous and unacceptable.
We have every reason to protest this as strongly as possible. Especially to the general public, especially to justices and the courts.
How could ANY justice worth their study of law decide in favor of laws that completely contradict basic laws already well established, and favor conjecture, prejudice and perception?

John Kriesel is stating a reality, and appealing to reason, logic and a moral imperative.

And unfortunately, these things didn’t prevail. And they DAMN WELL should have when someone is making law!
