Amicus, read about eHarmony, then reply. In the end I don’t mind whatever “protections” are put in place as long as this is real marriage. Huge step.

In other words, it’s just not going to happen, unless one of the other is spoiling for a fight, and then I’d hope that the judge has the good sense to just throw it out.

This doesn’t sound like a “given” to me. It sounds like the GOP are looking for any way possible to prevent this from coming to the floor. But they may not be able to do that without compromising themselves too much.

Also, sources close to the Senate are reporting that a 32nd vote has been obtained!!!

The senate has adjourned for the night to resume tomorrow morning after the respective parties caucus in their respective meetings at ~10:00 AM in the morning.
