Ummm... this radio/tv host - what part of stupid is he? He makes repeated remarks about people just can't say what they like yet he dropped that totally ridiculous and unsubstantiated claim about 7 year olds and fisting? As for Bradlee Dean and his *cough* "buddy" (oh there is a lot of denial in those two...) what a load of pathetic nonsense, especially demanding that should they win this case that they get to tell the court HOW that money is to be paid and then along with the ex drug experimenter jock (*thinks* was Jabba the Hutt a jock in his younger days?) denounce Maddow and MSNBC as "arrogant"! Please.... oh, and tell a mere foreigner, how much reach does someone like this Alex Jones have? In our country if anyone made that sort of claim (the fisting one) on air, they'd be off air before they'd finished their shift. (I gotta read this "First Amendment" of yours...)

Well, in America you can sue anyone for any reason. I don't see this getting far, though. I'm sure it's just a PR stunt by this creep, anyway.

Part of why I said what I did above is that I don't believe that people should be able to intimidate anyone by suing them for making reference to plaintiff's easily accessible public statements.

Wow, this Bradlee Dean creep says some really hateful, ugly, irrational stuff.

If the suit isn't tossed out of the system quickly, I hope Rachel Maddow countersues and wins big bucks from him, or otherwise wins brutally punitive damages.

"Mr Dean is implying that 351 million children are molested before their abusers are caught. The population of of the USA is some 300 million. The conclusion? Simple arithmetic is beyond Mr Dean’s intellectual capacity."

That would assume each child is only abused by a single gay predator. You're not allowing for overlap. Or slave camps. Or something.

@ Tim K.

Well then, as a kid who spent a couple years in Catholic school, I'm quite sure I was "taught" a lot of things by my fellow students that we'd of gotten in hella big trouble for if any of the nuns or teachers would of found out.

By the standard of "fact" that they're using, I was "taught" that sometimes girls like girls, I was "taught" how to properly smoke a cigarette, and I was "taught" a lot of street smarts and stuff like that. I had my first little girlfriend, got into (and won) my first fight, and a lot of other stuff like that.

All of this "teaching" came from other students, the actual teachers taught the things they were supposed to, like facts about history and math and science.

All of this in a school that required specifically sectarian prayers to God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit and that was just how you started off the day.

Christian schools...and in my opinion Christianity...have fallen kinda far since.

Assuming that gay men make up, at a conservative estimate, 1% of the US population, then Mr Dean is implying that 351 million children are molested before their abusers are caught. The population of of the USA is some 300 million. The conclusion? Simple arithmetic is beyond Mr Dean's intellectual capacity. He is stupid as well as bigoted. Extremely stupid.
