Nothing in their Constitution prevents it, as far as I understand it, nor is homosexuality illegal there. Of course, the machismo factor runs strongly, but there is an active gay community. I also wish they had a few gay-oriented resorts. With all their wonderful beaches, great music and great weather, it would be a terrific place to vacation (if the politics weren't so screwed up with Chavez).
