Obama is just saying the law will not be enforced in some cases. This policy still leaves illegal immigrants in a no man’s land.

The government DOES decide what a family is (for lots of purposes) all the time. Nothing is going to change that, it’s baked in. It’s high time that it recognizes our families when we need them to do so.

There is a case here in San Francisco where a man in the country legally and caring for his husband is about to be deported when his visa expires.
