My impression is that Ron Paul was not paying close attention to the newsletters going out in his name, and certain things got through that he didn’t necessarily agree with.

Look, he voted to repeal DADT, is not supporting the anti-gay Constitutional Amendment and has refused to say that he thinks homosexuality is immoral when asked by a religious radio station.

I’m certainly not supporting Obama and his wars, fiscal irresponsibility and disregard for civil liberties even if he is maybe a little better on gay issues.

Ron Paul didn’t sign this pledge for the simple reason he is against all regulation. He believes that this is something the federal government should not be involved with. Really has nothing to do with his personal views on same-sex marriage.

All the more reason to support Huntsman, Karger, or Johnson in the primaries. Even if you aren’t a republican, the more press and support those three can get, the better their odds at standing a chance against thet social conservatives.
