Dangerous to just pity them.
You better start to seriously hate them because they want you forever out of their sight.
To them pity = passive easy target.
Fight back any and all ways you can, be it physical and/or money donations to those who will fight for you.
This country WILL NOT protect you.
You are on your own – take appropriate measures.
Never give up, never stop fighting them, never surrender.

I’ve thought that for a long time. I’ve often encounted anti-gay bigots who weren’t particularly religious bring up the bible as though that were a motivating factor for their hate when it clearly was just an excuse.

After all, you can find something in the Bible to support just about any position you want to take on anything.

I clicked the first link above. Read about a half hour’s worth of the comments and I am amazed at the hate spewed there. But I shouldn’t be surprised really after the things I read on Right Wing Watch over the years.

While there are some comments in support of GLBT people, many are vile and hateful comments that support discrimination against the GLBT community based on the bible. Its odd that some would kneel before the serial adulterer Newt, but harshly rail against GLBT people as if they were nothing but pond scum. The “christian love” coming from these people is astounding. I cannot believe that its the bible that drives these people to hate the GLBT community but their own hate and use the bible as the excuse for it.

I cannot hate them myself. I pity them.

It would be useful for the Republican candidates to make a list of which groups of Americans they do not want to vote for them.
