I wonder if this could be a career-ending move for Mr. Donohue? If not, it’s an albatross that we can make sure stays very visibly connected to Mr. Donohue as long as he chooses to be in the public eye as a Catholic Right activist.

Our community as well as everyone else should be demanding an apology for this. This is way worse than the other guy’s stupid comparison of the gay community to the KKK.

Oh TRiG, I am sure he’s advanced to a laptop and smartphone by now.

Donohue is a one-man freak show who has no formal Church role, but I think the US bishops see him as a useful freak show. He can attack in his mad-dog manner thereby helping deflect attention from the Church’s ongoing corruption but they can disavow him when he gets too wacky (see drawing above).
