@Mark F.: Paul also has pushed for his We The People Act which put civil rights at the mercy of States’ rights. I’m not talking just about gay rights, but religious and gender as well. That would essentially gut the 14th Amendment and leave folks with remedy when States violate their civil rights. This, and his support for WikiLeaks as well as the traitor Bradley Manning, are the main reasons why I could never support Paul.

Ron Paul believes marriage should be a state matter and opposes the Federal Marriage Amendment, for the record.

So at least 40% of the electorate voted for at least partially pro-gay candidates.

I doubt Romney will pick someone from Massachusetts as his running mate. I don’t know where Romney lists his “home” these days, but if it is Massachusetts, he cannot pick someone from the same state as his running mate.

I suspect he will pick a Floridian or a Virginian. So either the young handsome Hispanic Florida Senator or the current, Evangelical governor of Virginia.

Let’s jump forward a bit and predict who Romney will pick as his running mate.

Probably someone relatively unknown who never has been in any of the debates. We already have witnessed some major personality clashes.

Probably an Evangelical to shore up the abortion and anti-gay marriage votes.

Scott Brown of Massachusetts?

I’ve been a Huntsman supporter from the beginning. I’m glad he finally got recognition and have been frustrated that the majority of the republican primary electorate has ignored him for the more extreme candidates. Do they really think those extreme views will win in a general election? But Huntsman has put all his eggs in the NH basket. I, unfortunately, don’t see him doing well in South Carolina and Florida and other more socially conservative states.

It’ll probably end up being another year of voting Libertarian for me. Atleast they have a quality candidate in Gary Johnson
