I'm proposing that we call ourselves the Sincere Christian Alliance for Morals. I'm counting on our followers not noticing the acronym because they will be so busy running to the mailbox with their generous checks to help us ~~achieve full equality for gay people~~ errr, I mean stop the homosexual onslaught. Then, after the easy money starts rolling in, I'm thinking we can pull in even more cash by adding an online store so we can cut into AFA's profits by offering such surefire bestsellers as this one.

And when you send the donations from your Secret Ghey Agent Anti-Gay fund-raising campaign to Lambda Legal, or your local school’s GSA group, just make sure you put Eugene’s name as the donor, and they’ll send him a big ol’ Thank You letter! Won’t that make him feel special?

I’m sure with all the big bucks he’s bringing in, he could use a tax deduction or two…

My palm just slammed into my forehead as I thought, “Wow!, this guy (Delgaudio) makes it look so easy. I could be a scammer, too!!!” All I need to do is write up some “sincerely held” anti-gay beliefs, develop a sanctimonious shtick, have my husband take a goofy photo of me in front of the U.S. flag and perhaps a religious symbol, purchase an email list, and then I’m off to the bank to deposit the checks. But . . . there would be a brilliant twist:

Similar to being a double agent, I would be a double scammer. As the money rolls in I would send it all to pro-gay groups (well, okay, maybe I would keep just a little bit). Imagine how well funded the pro-gay groups could be if many of us would be double scammers. And there would be no reason to worry about negative effects from our anti-gay emails – because the only people who would be paying attention and sending money are already anti-gay dead-enders anyway.

And if I’m really successful, I’ll get the coveted certification as a SPLC hate group, which should crank up the donations dramatically. From the standpoint of the money-senders, that certification is probably like an endorsement.
