Due to the massive role that LDS funding apparently played in California’s Prop8 campaign, it’s understandable that some people would assume that NOM is the acronym for the National Organization of Mormons.

I really wonder what’s going to happen to the Catholic Church’s support of NOM. They hate being tarred with the “hate-group” brush (no matter how well deserved), so I think that there will, at the very least be some changes in the works. Bye-bye Brian Brownshirt?

I’m eagerly anticipating NOM’s new and improved window-dressing. Perhaps they’ll call in Alan Chambers to advise Maggie.

And NOM also needs a tag-line. I’m thinking,

Isn’t this the same newspaper that, just a few weeks ago, sided with NOM and Cristie by publishing an editorial supporting a marriage equality referendum; and therefor supporting putting gay civil rights up for popular vote?

Any way you slice it, that’s the biggest tactic in NOM’s arsenal.
