Love In Action was developed in 1973 and a couple of years later became affiliated with "Church of the Open Door" in San Rafael, CA. The only official affiliation that Love In Action had with Church of the Open Door was that the ministry founder, Frank Worthen, was an "Elder" at Church of the Open Door and continues to be one there as far as I know, today. In 1994 under my direction, Love In Action moved to Memphis, TN. Yes, This American Life, facilitated over 6 hours of recorded interviews with me personally, and other interviews with Morgan Jon Fox.

It was a doctoral thesis and truthfully reads more like a doctoral thesis than a book. I put it down a couple months ago, I really should pick it up again and finish it. I bought it on Amazon as an e-book, it was real inexpensive around 9 bucks i think.
