I've been a member of a volunteer at the Simon Weisenthal Center in Los Angeles for a very long time. It's a Holocaust archive and anti hate educational institution. Lively and his cohorts are the very people WE'D invite on a DARE to get the real deal about the Nazis and the Holocaust. I was there when the center initiated and involved PFLAG and other pro gay advocates and education experts on not only what happened to gays and lesbians before and during the Holocaust, but the necessity of subsequent equality activism. I've been blessed to know several Holocaust survivors (national treasures if you asked me) and their impact of bearing witness to that terrible time. There is footage of several American generals and other allies telling the troops to be sure and find and preserve every scrap of evidence they could. Because, they rightly predicted, someone would "try to say it never happened, blame the wrong people for it, deny the planning and course of such an outrage and destroy any evidence that proved it". Scott Lively is a disgrace and any church that treats him like an honored expert guest, is too. Why they WOULD entertain this ass, instead of a legitimate Holocaust educator is truly saying exactly what needs to about this church and their agenda.
