Richard Angwin, before going to Minnesota taught at the school I attended. I called him during this campaign and tried to speak to him about his views, without much luck.

He later returned to the Chicago area to give two one-day seminars about how to defeat gay rights. I went to the first day but he saw me from the pulpil and literally came down the aisle to throw me out himself. I sent a minister friend the next day who taped it.

Angwin openly told people to lie to the public about how extreme their agenda was. He told the audience of fundamentalists that they shouldn't mention they "want to ban dancing or Hollywood movies" as well. Stay focus on the anti gay stuff and don't mention the other until that battle was one. I guess gay people are all that stands between freedom and a world without dancing or movies. : )
