I seem to recall you saying that Nikkel looked upset and ashamed last year. But in your picture she looks radiant. Funny thing... I've heard legislators of all parties say that they regret their anti-gay votes. Yet I've never heard a single one - not even a Republican targeted by NOM - ever say they wish they hadn't voted pro-equality. At the end of the day, there's something rewarding about being able to hold your head up and know that you followed your heart and your mind and did the right thing. What a difference a year makes. Funny thing… I’ve heard legislators of all parties say that they regret their anti-gay votes.
