It was interesting Jerry, Jr., introduced Romney as "The next President of the United States." It seems to me that was an endorsment by a non-profit organization.

Also it was good to be remeinded of the CA Senate passing Willie Brown's Consenting Adult Bill. It was probably the most dramatic moment in the history of the Legislature as Lt. Gov. Mervyn Dymally, who had made the dramatic flight from Denver landing at the old Sacramento airport and being driven to the Capitol by the Hiway Patrol sirens blaring, knocked on the locked doors of the senate, entered and asked the Pro Tem of the Senate the question on the floor. When told he then replied, "The Lt. Gov. votes 'aye.'" The Pro Tem had sent out the Hiway Patrol to arrest and bring back to the senate any missing members. Republican members were hanging out the windows for air. (lol)CA became the 17th state to allow consenting adults to have sex regardless of gender.

I can certainly empathize with a student reaction to Romney appearing on their stage. Religiously speaking, there is absolutely nothing in the Bible that addresses gays / homosexuals, but heterosexuals perverting their sex act with homosexual sex. Kids "get" the absurdity even if they don't get that point. Maybe the Books that were excluded have information on this topic the current one is missing.
Loved the tidbits on Katherine the fearless, and the fascinating. I could have read such all day. What an inspiration of courage she is to us all.
