And the whole time he was running I thought the 'ole Frothy Mix would be MY undoing.

Man was I wrong... 7% strongly for gap... my oh my... When I was a kid I never thought I'd get married, then I thought I'd get married but it'd never be recognized in my hometown, now... man. The sky's the limit.

Although I can't silence my inner skeptic: another way to read that poll (especially in the light of the NC results which were so far off the poll numbers) is that a large portion of that 8% who are worried about their hair-do probably think gay marriage is a terrible idea but are too polite to say so out-loud.

That cross-over to the No camp may even bleed into the "somewhat legal" category. Perhaps some of those somewhats go for NO on the question of gay marriage and YES on the question of civil unions. I'm a little curious why they didn't structure civil unions into the poll.

Not to rain on the parade though; this poll is good news no matter what way one slices it.
