But that doesn't mean that he need be left without the ongoing derision of his peers and the public at large. Should anyone discover that Ravi is working - ever - please, let me know and I'll be sure to contact his employer and let them know why I can no longer shop there. There's what the state can and should do - and there's the question of social disapproval. They are, and should be, different in many cases.
