		<description>The bill was defeated in the upper house late this evening (Australain Time). The final count was 6 votes to 8 with one abstention in the 15 member upper house. Tasmania is one of the smallest states in Australia so it has a delete let small parliament. 

Three other states have bills to be voted on in the coming month. New South Wales looks like it will be the next state ready to vote followed by South Australia the Western Australia.</description>
