Regan: I'll also note that this email is just an extension of Delgaudio's usual pattern of alternating between using "it's the end of the world" and "victory is in sight" approaches in his fundraising attempts.

Is it just me? Or does it seem the most audacious gravitas to say there was a surge in donations?
I don't think that happened at all, but that he's just saying it to spur other people into thinking many others agree with what he's doing.
So why not try and get the others who haven't responded to think they are needed?
"The program is to defend family values and real marriage."
I can't help but think how brain damaged the people he reaches out to have to be to not think about how useless that program is.
Gay people are not the scourge of family values, cohesion or importance.
If any of these so called defenders brought up divorce, adultery, addiction, domestic violence and child abuse as the scourges against families and their safety, I'd see them AS defenders.

I really, REALLY want to laugh at the hyperbole they trade in. As if they are SUCH brave, courageous and successful warriors against the 'homosexual agenda'.
They take swings at gay people who are defending marriage, families and children. In other words, there is no enemy, nothing destructive, nor who is violating anything for them to swing at.

They talk as if they need a big stick. But declaring war on those gay people who are peaceful is called a violation and oppression.
And apparently, only the truly intelligent and brave know the difference.

"P.S. The deadline is midnight tomorrow. I am already committed."

No, actually you aren't really committed. But we all would like to see you psychologically "committed" while you're wearing a straight-jacket sitting in a padded cell, shot up with Thorozine. I'd actually make a donation to that cause.
