Any time some pundit would call Christopher Hitchins “Chris,” he’d say, “please call me Christopher if for no other reason than it *is* my name.” Delicious.

That being said, I do think the term, “Uncle Tom,” is applied correctly to LCR in this case.

I was not under the impression that Ann Coulter is their friend at all. How sad that this criticism – which could have stood as a rational chastisement for a bad decision – instead devolved into hyperbole and name calling. Today has proven to be quite a disappointing day and its not even 9:00 am

Nice job missing the point. Ann Coulter is friends with GOPproud, and since theirs now no practical difference between the two organizations she can be their friend to.

But I know you need to find some gripe to cling to. The alternative is acknowledging the reality that your buddies at LCR stabbed us in the back.

Ann Coulter isn’t their ‘friend’ (whatever that means). GOProud is more her style (she goes where she gets a paycheck). And I am also disappointed in both the LCR endorsement of Romney and this articles equally pathetic attempt at name calling.

It’s not “a pat on the head and little else.” It’s once again the LCR placing financial matters ahead of matters of equality before the law. I’ve been fighting for gay rights for 40 years, and this disgusts me more than I can say. Calling them traitors to my cause is not too severe.
