And this quick rejection is more good news than bad. Because this proposal provoked very angry backlash. It seemed like the goverment will consider a ban on same-sex marriage and registered partnership. Discussion in Parliament was terrible. Many(most) politicians used phrases like "sick, deviant, disgusting, should be cured, homosexuality ruining society..." No argument, evidence only insults. Slovakia is pretty similar to Ukraine, unfortunately. But I am happy to hear the good news from USA. I am from Slovakia. And this quick rejection is more good news than bad.
