		<description>Unfortunately, it&#039;s not as straightforward as setting up an opt in system, due to the European Court of Human Rights. The concern is less about having other churches perform same sex weddings, more about protecting their church&#039;s freedom not to, as British legislation can be overturned by European law. If it could be guaranteed that their right not to perform a marriage was protected, then we would probably have same sex marriage in Britain by now.</description>
