Neither did we hear when DADT was implemented about discharging homosexual soldiers who did not “tell” . The whole concept of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was a farce considering they minimized the “don’t ask” part, completely dropped the original “don’t pursue, and did not limit discharges to those who who “told”.

Some day, books will be written about all the characters, such as Li’l Peter, who remained entrenched and unrepentant to the end in their devotion to making the lives of gay people as miserable as possible, and thus were left standing on the dock. I suggest that those books be collectively dubbed

Well, as might be expected from LaBarbera, he’s not got the story exactly right: the soldiers in question had their severance pay cut in half after receiving honorable discharges, not as a matter of law, but as a matter of departmental decree, which the courts found unjustifiable.

Oh, and Peter — you did do something wrong. You’ve built your whole career on doing something wrong. (And based on your results to date, you’re not even very good at it.)
