Customartist, in the civil rights struggles, it was the Democrats in the South who supported discrimination.

Marriage Equality will be passed, even though we have waited decades and lost Millions [that heteros take happily from us] due to State after State of Republican Legislatures, but…

I have a memory superior to that of an elephant, and I will never, NEVER vote Republican.

What Religious, and Extremist, and Tea Party Republicans have done to Gays, they will continue to do to others. They will continue making Gay relationships, Gay employment, Gay housing, Gay adoption, etc. as difficult as possible. They have in just recent news been firing from jobs those suspected of being “liberal”, and it is clear that Republicans hate Gays the most of any dempgraphic.

The original Civil Rights battle did not stop their covert yet pervasive descrimination, and Marriage Equality will not stop their hatred for Gays. It lives on. They feed it.

I for one will NOT let them beat us repeatedly, but then allow them to easily sweep this away having no personal repercussions for their hateful deeds.
